Peace Prize winner 2024
OLEKSANDRA
MATVIICHUK
The Pahl Peace Prize 2024 honors Oleksandra Matviichuk for her commitment against injustice and for documenting war crimes at enormous personal risk. Her fearless work in the face of the occupation of Crimea, the atrocities in the Donbas and her initiative for the tribunal are exemplary of her passionate fight for freedom and humanity.

Ordinary people have much more influence than they think they do. Voices of millions of people from different countries can change world history faster than interventions of the UN.
