II. General information on data processing

1. The scope of processing of personal data

Our processing of personal data of our users is limited to that data that is necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users is only carried out for the purposes agreed with them or if another legal basis (in the sense of the DSGVO/GDPR) exists. We only collect personal data that is actually necessary for the execution and processing of our tasks and services or that you have voluntarily provided us with.

2. Your rights (individual rights)

You have the right to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you may request information on the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the envisaged storage period, the existence of a right of rectification, cancellation, limitation of processing or opposition, data transmission1 , the origin of your data, if not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision making including profiling. You also have the right to revoke any consent you may have given to the use of your personal data at any time. 

If you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data by us is in conflict with the applicable data protection regulations, you have the possibility to complain to the data protection authority.

III. Description and scope of data processing 

1. Providing of the website

Whenever our website is called up, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the calling computer.

The following data is collected:

– Information about the browser type and the version used

– The user’s operating system

– The Internet service provider of the user

– The IP address of the user

– Date and time of access Internet pages from which the user’s system accesses our website

We store this information for a maximum period of 30 days. This storage is done for reasons of data security to ensure the stability and operational reliability of our system.

On our website, “Google Analytics”, a web analysis service of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94.043 USA, is used to evaluate website usage. Google Analytics uses cookies (see point 2.), which are stored on your computer. The information contained therein about the website and internet usage of the visitor can be processed and evaluated by Google. The data collected by Google may be transferred by Google to countries outside the EU and the EEA, in particular the USA. However, Google has subjected itself to the Privacy Shield Framework. You can find more information about your rights under this framework at http://ec.europa.eu/justice/dataprotection/document/citizens-guide_en.pdf. In addition, we ensure that your IP address is made anonymous before it is transmitted to Google. 2. Cookies

We use cookies on our website to make our offer user-friendly. Cookies are small files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. The cookies remain stored until you delete them. This enables us to recognise your browser the next time you visit us. If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you allow them in individual cases. We would like to point out, however, that deactivation will mean that you will not be able to use all functions of our website. The legal basis for the data processed by cookies is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR. The cookies remain valid for 30 days and are then deleted by your browser.

3. Newsletter

If you register for our newsletter, we will immediately send an e-mail containing a hyperlink to the specified e-mail address. By clicking on this link, you confirm your newsletter registration (double opt-in procedure). If this confirmation is not received within one week, we will delete the e-mail address from our temporary list and your registration will not be processed. Confirm the newsletter registration, give your consent to the storage of your e-mail address including date of registration, IP address and the list name of the desired newsletter. We use your e-mail address and the simultaneously collected personal data such as e-mail address and name, first name only for the administration and the sending of the desired newsletter, at the periodicity indicated during the registration.

Our newsletters do not contain any obvious or hidden counters, third party advertising or links to external sites that are not directly related to the content of our newsletter. Each newsletter contains a note on how you can unsubscribe from the newsletter.

IV. Data security

We use the highest encryption level supported by your browser when you visit our website. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed display of the key or lock symbol in the address bar of your browser. In addition, we apply further suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or deliberate manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
